I know! It shouldn’t actually be soft but we like it like this better :D But when I tried to make another set after a few months, it was hard as how crinkles should be.  I think it got something to do with my oven setting.  We were having problem with our gas the first time I tried making one.  So I guess that was the reason for the softness and chewiness of my first attempt to make crinkles. It looks more like a soft chocolate cookie :D

Finally! After almost a month, I am posting my 3rd ever decorated cake using buttercream frosting and cream cheese filling. I forgot to take a picture of the sliced cake so I could show you guys the filling. Next time. Anyway, I made a chocolate cake base from Chocolate Surprise Cupcake. Since I got a super hectic schedule for that week, I made the cake 2 days before my niece’s birthday and made the cream cheese filling and buttercream frosting the night before the event. straight out of the oven I have been meaning to do this one since last month but kept on postponing it. This is my first time to try making baked cheesecake and my nth time making cheesecake. Inspired by the fact that I never really succeeded with no-bake cheesecakes. Anyway, this cheesecake is kind of different since a) it is in small serving size and b) I used cookie dough as crust. Again, got the recipe from Allrecipes.com but with some tweaks.
