A short and quick post

I’m sorry for not updating this site for quite some time now.  I have at least 4 to 5 backlogs.  2 of which happened last month and 3 without pictures. :( But nevertheless, I will try to post about this experiences.  ;)

Anyway, had a blast today!  Hubby cooked rib eye for lunch, I made cheese quesadillas with homemade salsa for mirienda and onion rings for… wala lang! :D

See you again in a while.  ;)

decoding hubby

I have been cooking lunch for hubby for 2 weeks (except weekends) and I haven’t blog anything about it. I actually forgot what I cooked last week and early this week. I remember cooking beef and broccoli last Tuesday, then I made chicken with mushrooms, steamed fish, another chicken with broccoli, paella negra pinay, then pasta with spanish sardines for today.

If hubby says it’s OK, it means: “Ordinary, nothing special.” If he says: Masarap! (Delicious!), then it means: Masarap nga!(It’s really delicious!)

Well at least I’m trying. Now, I hope I can forget that Tinola incident! :D

I need a Nutritionist

I need to come up with a healthy diet plan for me, hubby and the little princess. The problem is, I love food, but I’m not a good cook. No! I don’t cook! I can’t cook! But I have to! I specially need to learn how to cook healthy food. Hubby’s family has hypertension, mine has diabetes. It’s a bad combination for the little princess.

When hubby was assigned in the US for a work assignment, I once or twice tried to cook new dishes. There were also times I cooked simple Filipino dishes but all my efforts seems to be futile. Adobo na lang d ko pa magawa! But mind you, I can proudly say that I am good when it comes to baking pastires and cooking pasta dishes. I do it from scratch!

Anyway, I need a menu plan for hubby and the little princess. I don’t know where to start. I’d like to try cooking for them but I think I really haven’t overcome my fear of it. At least it’s not Mageirocophobia. It’s more like fear of failing, fear of rejection and fear of wasting food. O well, I have to try.

I think what I really need most is a chef, hehe!
