Buon Giorno

For the long weekend, we decided to go to Tagaytay for 3 things: to try a new restaurant, go horse back riding and scout for a restaurant for unica ija’s 3rd birthday celebration.

Since it was still early, we went horse back riding first beside Taal Vista.  Actually, it was just hubby and Vera as I was the photographer.

After the ride, we went to Buon Giorno at Clliffhouse Tagaytay for lunch.  I have heard so many good things about this place and we were glad we finally had time to go there.  It was all worth it.

The Unforgettable Date

As I’ve mentioned in my other blog, we had an unforgettable date last weekend. We had dinner at Galileo Enoteca and was supposedly going to watch Slumdog Millionaire after that.

Anyway, I learned about this place last month thru hubby and my first impression base from what I saw from their site was: wine cellar. It looks so much like a wine cellar to me which is kind of unique for a restaurant. I do recommend the place though I think you have to make sure you or your date is not claustrophobic unless maybe you tell your server to seat you near the door (where there are windows).

Food and service was great! Add that they gave us three complimentary wine and food: extra glass of white wine, a salad and an appetizer. I assume this was because they didn’t have the first 3 items I picked that time (Seafood Salad, Insalata Caprese, and the Pesto di Olive Nere). We were actually planning another trip there while we’re finishing our food.
