Hubby and I are Chicken wings fan.  The cheapest one we like are from Flaming Wings in BF Paranaque, better than Hooters in MOA (SM Mall of Asia).  Well, Hooters in MOA was not being consistent with their servings that is.  Sometimes the hot ones tastes ordinary, sometimes it’s really hot.  So instead of going there, we go to Flaming Wings.  And now, I (will) just make our own, which by far is the cheapest and safest of all! I’ve had this recipe since last year but never had the chance...

I know! It shouldn’t actually be soft but we like it like this better :D But when I tried to make another set after a few months, it was hard as how crinkles should be.  I think it got something to do with my oven setting.  We were having problem with our gas the first time I tried making one.  So I guess that was the reason for the softness and chewiness of my first attempt to make crinkles. It looks more like a soft chocolate cookie :D

I don’t why it was called gising-gising.  For yaya G, it’s just another type of bicol express :D I was craving for something spicy and we were suppose to eat lunch at Recipes in ATC one weekend ago but the little princess got sick after probably getting too tired from their sports fest the previous day.   So to fulfill the craving, we just made our own gising-gising.

Yesterday afternoon, we made two kinds of pasta sauce: one with spanish style sardines and the other one a sweet style for the little princess.  Both are easy to cook with simple recipes.  The first one was a replica of hubby’s lunch which I cooked for him the night before.  It tasted good so I tried making another set for us adults here at home.  I never thought that the little princess would prefer the pasta con spanish style sardines over the kiddie style spaghetti.  Yeah, who am I...
